David Garrett

David Garrett, founder and president of Garrett Mortgage and DG Financial, Inc., has one goal - homeownership with the very best financing to meet each client's individual needs.  He draws on over 30 years' experience in executive banking and lending in California.  David understands that purchasing or re-financing a home is a major decision and he strives to make certain the loan decision is made based on full understanding.  He encourages asking every question necessary for the right decision.  He focuses on understanding each client's unique needs each step of the way. 

David is a past Board Member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB).  CAMB promotes the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct, among which are expert knowledge, accountability, fair dealing, and service to clients and community.

A native of Los Angeles David holds a graduate degree in business from Cal State Northridge.  He lives in Malibu with his wife, Randi (also a native of Los Angeles) and their two dogs Mr. Ed and Fly.  They have two daughters.  Autumn lives in Mountain View, CA and is an environmental biologist.  Beau is an actress and Brand Ambassador for Revlon and lives in Silverlake.

David is a volunteer "beachkeeper" with Santa Monica Baykeeper and monitors water draining into the Malibu Lagoon and Mailbu Colony beaches.  He is an avid "birder" (watch, not shoot) and is a member of the Santa Monica Audubon.
